Domains that do not sell a slot
Many of the titles worth pitching will not take a commissioned guest post. PR is how a citation appears there at all.
Coverage earned in a newsroom, from a story a journalist can use. Digital PR in Latin America is slower than a guest post, and the domains are usually harder to buy a slot on.
What this is
LATAM digital PR is outreach to journalists and newsrooms with a reason to cover you: a data point, a study, an expert view, a product that belongs in a round-up, or a story that is actually happening in that market. The aim is a link inside coverage, not a sponsored URL on a site that sells guest posts by the kilo. The newsroom decides. That is why the work is slower, and why the domains are often the ones that do not have a rate card for articles.
In Latin America that means pitching in the language of the desk. A Mexican editor is not working from an English press list. A Brazilian reporter will not lift a Spanish-language angle and file it in Portuguese. The story has to be usable in that country. Generic regional announcements die in the inbox for the same reason generic regional guest posts fail in search: they were not written for anyone in particular.
This is the right choice when you have something a journalist can use, when you need a class of domain that does not take commissioned articles, or when the brief is authority rather than monthly volume. It is the wrong choice when you need a fixed number of links by Friday. We will say that before you brief it as a volume line.
Delivery
The brief starts with the story, not only with metric floors. You tell us what can be pitched, which markets it belongs in, and what a useful outcome looks like. We still send a sample of target newsrooms and titles within 24 hours, with metrics attached, so you can see the class of site. You approve the list. We do not pitch a newsroom you have ruled out.
Outreach is written for that desk, in Spanish or Portuguese as required. When coverage lands, the live URL is added to the shared Google Sheet with the outlet, the date, and the status. Misses are recorded too. Digital PR is not padded with guest posts to make a month look full. If a story does not take, we say so in the sheet rather than substituting a paid article and calling it PR.
Why this work
Many of the titles worth pitching will not take a commissioned guest post. PR is how a citation appears there at all.
Data, a local expert, a product that belongs in the piece. The pitch has to work as journalism in that country, or it does not leave the inbox.
Coverage inside a news article reads differently from a labelled sponsored post. That is the point of briefing this as PR rather than as volume guest posting.
We do not promise a quota of news links per week. You see targets, you see outcomes, and you see the misses in the same sheet.
Questions
No. Sponsored inventory is a different product and we will label it as such if it appears in a brief. Digital PR is a pitch to a newsroom. The journalist can say no. That refusal is part of the work, not a defect we hide by purchasing a URL.
Data helps. It is not the only angle. A local expert, a product that belongs in a comparison, or a story that is already moving in that market can be enough. What we will not do is pitch a press release with nothing in it and hope a national title runs a link.
Longer, on average, and with less certainty. A guest post is production against an approved publisher. Digital PR waits on a newsroom. Plan in weeks and months, not in a 24-hour turnaround for the live URL. The sample of target titles still arrives within a day of the brief.
The rest of the work
If you have an angle a journalist in the region could use, send it with the markets you care about. We will come back with a target list of newsrooms, with metrics, within 24 hours.
